The Canadian Wood Council’s Wood Works! Ontario program presents its annual wood design and construction conference and trade show, dedicated to showcasing innovative advancements and applications for products and systems.

Several case studies will be presented, including Toronto’s T3 Bayside and Victoria’s District 56 – Tallwood 1–Canada’s first 12-storey building constructed under new code provisions for encapsulated mass-timber construction (EMTC)–and the University of Victoria’s National Centre for Indigenous Laws.

Additional topics will include light wood-frame and mass-timber hybrid solutions for mid-rise buildings, fire demonstration test outcomes and findings, treated wood, prefabrication for multi-unit housing, wind resilience and mass-timber concrete composite panel development for tall buildings.
